Reddit is an online message board made up of different communities called ‘sub-reddits’. If there’s two people that like something, there’s likely a sub-reddit for it. You can usually find the best deals on Reddit for clothing on reddit, however, it can be difficult to find a specific piece.

The Hypebeast.com forums are very active and a great place to buy, sell, and trade your clothing with other members. Make sure to get your items checked by another member of the community before buying.

 

eBay is a great place to look if the piece you’re looking for is from a popular brand such as Supreme, BAPE, or 10.Deep. Make sure you get good pictures of the piece and post a Legit Check on /r/streetwear or any other streetwear community to make sure that what you’re buying is authentic.

 

Sneakers:

The easiest way to get great deals on kicks (quickly) is to buy them locally. Typing in <Your State> Sneaker or <Your City> Sneaker into the Facebook search bar should yield a list of groups where locals can trade their kicks. You can also sometimes find clothing pieces being sold in these groups. Be sure to get your stuff checked online, and meet in a public place with the person you’re dealing with such as a coffee shop to prevent any shady business from going down.

 

Kixify is the eBay for sneakerheads. This site is great if you’re looking for a steal on a certain pair of kicks in your size. Simply select the sneaker you’re looking for, your size, and 9 times out of 10 you’ll be able to find a pair at a solid price.

 

eBay, again, is a great place to go if you’re looking for a popular model such as Yeezys or Jordans. Make sure that the person you’re buying from is reputable, and get your pictures checked before you buy.

 

NikeTalk Forums are a great place to look if you’re hunting for Jordans, Kobes, or any other Nike sneaker. While not as active as other member-run communities, you can occasionally find steals in your size if you’re diligent.

 

Unlike NikeTalk, on Hypebeast you can find anything from Visvim Shaman’s to Asics Gel Lyte’s. You can get the best deals if you find someone is selling a large collection and you snap them up before the high-ticket kicks get taken.

 

Closing out our list with Reddit again, if you check up on these sub-reddits daily you can often grab a pair of kicks at a fraction of the original cost.
